Park City!

We enjoyed another fabulous family vacation in Park City, Utah. It was wonderful getting out of the blazing Arizona heat and heading up to the cool mountains for outdoor adventures.

We stopped along the way to check out Jeremy's old "office" on the Colorado River.

When we arrived at the condo, Jeremy and Blake immediately started working on their bikes to go for a ride.

Blake and Emerson spent some time in the activity center making Father's Day cards for Jeremy.

We spent lots of time at the pool and hot tubs.

We took a little hike up by the lift for the kids to play with the dandelions (Blake's favorite).

Sunday at the Silly Market

Each day Jeremy and I took turns having solo mountain time, Jeremy biking and me hiking. We discovered some awesome trails. Jeremy even saw a moose!

We took a train ride through Heber Valley. I wouldn't say this was the highlight of our trip, but it was pretty and Blake liked seeing the different trains.
The "bad guys" coming to rob the train.

On Monday we spent the morning at Jordenelle State Park where we kayaked for a couple of hours.

Monday afternoon we went to the Homestead Crater. The Crater is a geothermal spring hidden within a 55-foot tall, beehive-shaped limestone rock. The water is loaded with minerals and ranges from 90-96 degrees. It is the only hot spring in the continental U.S. where you can scuba dive. We entered through a tunnel and soaked in the crystal clear mineral water for about an hour. It was awesome!

Wednesday night we headed to the Deer Valley concert in the park they hold each week of the summer. The kids were loving running around, but then Blake came over to us saying he was tired and wasn't feeling well. We all went back to the condo and Emerson and I sneaked out for some s'mores.

Taking the lift up to ride the Alpine Slide- so much fun! Emerson and I beat the boys down the slide once again. We are undefeated!

On Thursday, we took the kiddos up the lift. Jeremy went for a bike ride when we got to the top, and the kids and I went for a long hike. Emerson picked a bouquet of flowers that included just about every color you can think of. Blake enjoyed finding different sticks that would make good boats. :)

Back at the condo to warm up by the fire.

The city park was really close to our condo, so the kids took a couple of bike rides there. It won't be long until they're riding their "big kid" bikes!

The musical instrument park next to the main park- love it!

We got home late last night after a 13 hour drive. Today we unpacked, did some laundry and repacked for the beach. We're headed to San Diego tomorrow with my parents. Oh- how I love summer!!!!
