Mother's Day Dinner
We ended Mother's Day with a fabulous dinner at P.V. Country Club to celebrate with Jeremy's wonderful mom. The kids had a great time running around with all the other kids on the golf course while the adults were able to enjoy a lovely dinner. It was the perfect way to end a great day. I thank God every day for allowing me to be Blake and Emerson's mom!

Mother's Day Morning
Mother's Day started off perfectly; I slept in and woke up to breakfast made by Jeremy. Emerson ran up to me with a big hug and yelled, "Happy Birthday!" Then, she paused with a mixed up look on her face and gave me another big hug and yelled, "I mean Happy Mother's Day!" They all had cards for me and a special present, I Pad! We quickly ate breakfast and loaded everything up for a day at Canyon Lake with my wonderful Mom. :)

God's Garden Mother's Day Party
Blake and Emerson had an adorable Mother's Day party at their school last week. They started off by singing a couple of songs that just melted my heart. Then, their teacher read off some "Mom" questionnaires and we had to guess which one was about us. I guessed both!
I loved receiving my first school-made Mother's Day presents. So much fun!
The boy in the blue is Casey, Emerson's "boyfriend". More on him in a later post!
Each child got to pick a flower and a pot, and we planted them together.

Magical Music Night
Last Friday night was Magical Music Night at our church. All the church music groups performed and money was raised for some great causes. Emerson performed "The Star Spangled Banner" with her bells group and they sang a cute "Soda Pop" song with the youth choir. She is getting more and more confident on stage and loves her little performances.
Blake practiced writing 4's while we were waiting for Emerson. He's very proud of his work, although he's holding his paper upside-down:) He still has no interest in bells or singing, but he loves to cheer on his little sis.
