Ranch Fun

Friday we headed up early to the ranch. Blake and Emerson were thrilled. They ask us just about every day when we're going to the ranch next. We had a fun weekend hanging out with John and enjoying the beautiful weather.

 On Saturday we went to the Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary. We were able to see some really cool animals up close. Check out this tiger- a little scary!

 

 Lucky us, there was a perfect breeze Saturday afternoon. Jeremy blew up Emerson's new kite and they tested it out.

The kids played together non-stop. I went out back this morning to see what they were doing. Blake was a prince, Emerson was a princess, and they were warming up their horses for a horse race that was about to start. I love their imaginations!

Spring Break

Spring Break! Yeah! It's been a gorgeous week and Blake, Emerson and I have taken full advantage spending just about all our time outside. We've been to parks and had picnics every day, bike rides, Desert Botanical Garden, hikes, lots of play dates etc...lovin' it!

 Miss Rhodes outside reading to her girl students:) Mr. Rhodes was reading to the boy students in the chair next to her, but he was naked, so I don't think I'll post that picture! That's how it is on most days around here, Emerson dressed as a princess and Blake naked. :)

 Savannah LOVES Spring Break! She seriously has the longest tongue I've ever seen!

 Emerson started a new dance class with Charlotte at a studio by our house. Here are all the cuties practicing for their first recital. Thanks to Aunt Kristyn for all the amazing dance clothes!

Every Saturday we pick up a basket of fruits and vegetables for the week. The kids always look forward to see what we get and help me to prepare meals and snacks. Here is Emerson juicing all by herself and Blake in the background making a fruit/vegetable smoothie. Love that they are healthy eaters:)

And now....off to the ranch for some more outdoor fun:)
